The lodge is perfectly located halfway between Stowe village corners and the Stowe Mountain Resort ski area (Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak), right on the winter Trolley Service route.

The Stowe area is truly a four seasons resort area. While many know about the great skiing in the winter at Stowe Mountain Resort and on area trails, Stowe is also the perfect vacation spot in late spring and summer, and offers spectacular red, yellow and orange tinted views of the changing foliage in the fall.

The Stowe area does not allow chain stores, so most stores are one of a kind.

At any time of year, there are plenty of unique shopping opportunities, with products not offered anywhere else.

There is a 5.6 mile recreation path just 40 yards from the lodge. The path is paved and it has 11 bridges and beautiful scenery groomed for cross country in the winter and great for bike riding and roller blading in the summer and fall.
